I support all of them. It depends on the person, insurance, etc. The Dexcom is excellent and is covered by insurance often. But without insurance, it’s the most expensive and you don’t have the ability to log food in it. I like the FreeStyle Libre 3 as it has good accuracy, has a more reasonable price tag and you can easily log food/activity in the free app.

Dietitians and nutritionists are the obvious users of these to support their clients. But health coaches working in metabolic health and weight loss, nurses, PAs, NDs, chiropraters and MDs can use these to learn how to use these. The bundle can be used to create SOPs for your whole clinic.

Depending on your training, you may want to take one of my classes and/or book a mentoring call. You can share your client’s CGM data over Zoom and I’ll show you how to troubleshoot it before you meet with them. One or two of these calls can give you a LOT of confidence.
