"I've had food allergies now for many years and had to take a lot of allergy medications. Karen helped me understand I had a histamine intolerance and helped me reduce my medications. But she didn't stop there. She also helped me heal my gut and re-introduce foods I'd been avoiding for years. She helped me understand nutrition and how that can help the whole body deal with inflammation and that has been really valuable for my health.

“I love how Karen thinks. I'd love to come in here a few nights a week and "cook with Karen" and make whatever she's making.”

“We had a great consult with Karen! She took the time to understand our current lifestyle, stage of life, and goals and made very practical recommendations. I appreciated her educational approach, explaining the science in an easy-to-understand way. We would absolutely recommend contacting Karen to discuss your dietary goals, regardless if they are ambitious or if you feel you simply need a tune-up.”

"I have suspected over the years an intolerance to gluten. When I finally decided to get serious about getting gluten out of my life, Karen helped me by working with me to eliminate it from my diet and more importantly worked with me to see if I could incorporate some back into my diet by challenging it. It was the step I always missed and she coached me through it and without that step I don't think I would have changed my ways. It really did show me I cannot tolerate it. Along the way, with the tools I learned from Karen, I found I have a peanut allergy too! No wonder I was always sick when I ate peanut butter sandwiches! It was a double whammy! I live across the U.S. from Karen, so our work was done over the phone and email. She made it convenient for my schedule, and I so appreciated it! I also love how she has now added the feature of being able to get my supplements from her right over her website - how convenient!

"My iron levels were so low that I required i.v. infusions. However, I'd been low on energy for so long that it had become my normal, and I had sort of resigned myself to being this way forever. I attributed it all to my weight and that I was just busy and overwhelmed. My hair was falling out and I had terrible brain fog as well. For the past year, I've been working with Karen and my physician to get healthier and identify what was at the root of my iron deficiency. I've been taking supplements, healing my gut, stabilizing blood sugar-all of the things. Today, a year later, with iron levels up and fueled by a breakfast loaded with good fats and protein, I walked to and from the store in the snow and carried groceries on my back, after having done a fair amount of cleaning at home already and I am still feeling great and that I can do more. I am also a lot more focused at work. I am really excited to be learning how to take better care of myself, not only for me but for what I can pass on to my kids.
