Hi!  My name is Karen Kennedy and I'm a certified nutritionist trained in integrative and functional nutrition. I help people to focus on their gains instead of their losses.

I know first-hand what it’s like to live with burnout… and what it can take to recover. My own healing journey took me to some dark places with little rest for my anxious mind. But I had help and am here for you too.

In addition to working with me one-on-one, people can work with me in my groups or my online classes to build up their wellness tool-box and nutrition knowledge.

What is burnout?

Burnout is the result of prolonged chronic stress. Small amounts of stress are good for us. When we toggle back and forth between stress and rest, our body has a chance to rest and re-build. But when the stress is relentless, day after day, week after week and we don’t get a chance to recover, that is when it takes a toll on our health.

At first we can feel hypervigilant. Ready to snap at a moment’s notice. But after a time, you feel like you can barely get out of bed. This is burnout.

It may take a while to dial things back, soothe ragged nerves and heal yourself. But no matter were you are on this spectrum, it’s time to start healing.
